In 2025, Jen was chosen to be an Instructor for Squarespace’s “How to Become a Web Designer” Course.
In this online course, Jen demonstrates how to build and design a website for a luxury brand client that offers retreats and custom experiences. this free course offers a chance to gain expert insights on every stage of the design process—from project kickoff to offboarding with confidence.
KEYNOTES & PRESENTATIONS
Jen has taken the Squarespace stage as a Guest Speaker twice - with the Nerdville Team as the very first Circle Day presenters in 2022 and again in 2024 in an employee-focused panel titled “Meet the Experts”.
She has also presented 5 times at NETA - a Nebraska technology conference for educators, the Designer Summit, The Digital Marketing Summit, the Fempreneur Fair, and many additional virtual conferences.

Jen has been a teacher/trainer since 1998 and has been offering technology specific workshops and training since 2013. it’s borderline impossible to list them all , but here is an overall summary :)

As an Educational Consultant, Mimio Certified Trainer, Learning.com Trainer, and a K-8th grade Technology Teacher, Jen provided dozens of workshops and training sessions to teachers and staff within the archdiocese of Omaha as well as rural schools in Nebraska- topics: integrating technology in the classroom as well as motivational/HR related topics.

Jen became an Authorized Trainer for Squarespace in 2018 and hosted dozens of small group in person workshops as well as virtual small group training sessions before becoming a Squarespace Expert in 2021.

Jen started Nerdville - a designer training program and collaborative community in 2021 and had 9 Squarespace Designers go through her training program - with two designers earning the Expert Badges (Squarespace Marketplace).

In 2022, Jen was asked to become an Employee Educator for Squarespace along with Becca Harpain (Inside the Square). This dynamic duo created a 90 minute onboarding training session for new Squarespace employees. In this session, we walk them through our process for building and designing a Squarespace website.

Jen’s love for teaching and training has encouraged her to evolve her business model so that she can pass on what she has learned and help set others up for success. She continues to offer one-on-one collaborative Zoom sessions and training as well as small group workshops both online and in-person. Offering training sessions for amazing companies like the Rocket VA Academy has become a cherished part of her business model.
Training sessions can be completely customized for groups from 5 - 50 and can be held both virtual and in-person.
