a few years ago, squarespace asked me and another squarespace expert, becca harpain, to take over their internal onboarding training program (huge honor). basically, we alternate teaching this 90 minute session in which we walk their employees step by step through the process of building their first basic squarespace expert.
the process for what i am offering capitol beauty school is similar except that every student would get a blank website shell - already completely built and structured. during the 90 minute class, i would walk them through the process of updating their colors, fonts (branding) and show them how to easily change this in the future as their branding becomes more defined. i would also walk them step by step through every section of the website while they add their own images, about info, etc.
the pdf below is our class outline for the squarespace class. while it does not fit my plans for this opportunity exactly, i think it will help put things into perspective a bit.
